At JKS, we are proud of our humble beginnings.

JKS IS LOCATED IN NAtchez, MISSISSIPPI, THE OLDEST SETTLEMENT ON THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER.

Established in 1954, in a small town with big ambitions, Jordan, Kaiser & Sessions, LLC was founded under the principle of providing clients, both large and small, with the best quality engineering services in a timely and efficient manner. Though JKS has grown to become one of the leading providers of civil engineering and surveying in the Deep South, our client-centric approach and commitment to excellence have proven to stand the test of time.

While we consistently strive to be recognized for our experience and quality solutions, one of our main objectives is to ensure each client feels their experience working with JKS was positive and beneficial. We bring an authentic attitude and cooperative spirit to every project we approach.

The firm rapidly built a record of engineering responsibility and dependability and expanded in size and scope. The firm has been employed by many municipalities in Mississippi and Louisiana to perform the engineering services related to expansion of utilities for growing populations. JKS has serviced developers as new subdivision were built. Industry expanding or moving into the area provided many clients to the firm. Intimately involved with growth and expansion, JKS offers complete engineering services from initial job study to project completion and gives the assurance that such services will be performed efficiently and in line with the highest standards of the engineering profession.

The offices of the firm were located in downtown Natchez until 1957, at which time the offices were moved to the present location near the developing industrial port area. One expansion of the office building was completed in 1964 and another in 1973 with the present building containing 4300 square feet on a once acre site.

In June of 1973, Mr. Sessions became a retiring partner with B.C. Jordan, Jr. and C.H. Kaiser, Jr. continuing the partnership, retaining the name of Jordan, Kaiser & Sessions. Mr. Jordan retired in the mid 1990s and Mr. Kaiser retired in 2019 at the age of 91. The firm is currently run by Mr. Kaiser’s son, C. Hayden Kaiser III, P.E.
